I'm late, but how do I save the cop robot? I know it's possible because another video mentions it, but I tried waiting for it to come back, but QT forces me to break out every single way and nothing I say seems to convince this robot. I just wanna save it, man, I feel bad for it!

I don't remember exactly how it works but you don't get the chance to save the police robot in the police station, you do it at the very end of the game when you and the police robot are in the research lab.

Oooh, I've been in the lab before, but I've never seen the police robot before! I'll play through the game a few more times to see if I can save it, thank you for the hint!
