Hm, I believe it must be some kind of difference on my end, but response pressing left or right is significantly delayed. This doesn't appear to be the case for shared videos of gameplay that I've seen.
This happens to me too when trying to play on keyboard controls, or on a controller with dpad. I have to play on controller with analog stick because of this, but it works perfectly.
