I really like the assets you used. Unfortunately I dont know what to do. Is it possible to collect enough stones, finish the quest and buy tools?

Yes, you can collect the minerals to complete quests
My mini youtube video shows basic gameplay, you dig and collect minerals and get quests from the cowboy. He pays you and you can get upgrades from the alien like storekeep. For next jam game i'll take time to create a simple how-to section as the game seems to be a bit confusing to get going without it.
