just put in exception in your antivirus program. Unfortunately microsoft defender started complaining about this file two weeks ago. Most likely you need to recompile blitz3d to the latest version of msvc. I don't think anyone will solve this problem, especially now that Mark is not with us.
I just build a latest version of blitz3d from github source its 1.119 version according version.txt file. Seams windows defender not complaining about linker.dll for now. Edited: 11 days lately defender again complaining about this file :) idk
Latest build on Itch is shown to be 1.118. My windows Defender warned about "VIGORF" so I looked it up and it says that it's a trojan. If you don't use a certain Adobe software, check as an administrator into C:\Documents and Settings\ . Look out.
