This is fine! our guidelines are roguetemple's core traditional roguelike values, but you don't have to "comply" with ALL of them. When you are submitting your entry, you'll have a chance to mark it as "meta-progression", which won't affect your submission and is only provided to make it easier for people to discover the games they like.
