How were you able to make 1st person dungeon crawling in GB Studio? I've been wanting to make something like this but with turn based combat for a while, but haven't been able to figure out how.

Btw the game is fun and addicting, I'm glad I can play it on my phone.

I used the top-down game mode, but covered the screen with the overlay so you can't see the player. Then I submapped different wall parts to the overlay depending on what tiles are next to the player.
