If this isn't still open, let me know, but if it is, I've started writing a visual novel of my own (I've got a pretty detailed plan, but since I'm an amateur writer, trying to actually write it and write it well is difficult) and if you're okay with working with me on it then I'd absolutely love to write with you! The story is a crime/detective story, set in a prison on lockdown - the main character/'detective' is a cat burglar whose primary goal is surviving and proving that they aren't the culprit of a string of murders. There's a bit more to it than that, but that's the general gist.
