Really fun game! But I found it a little unfitting for the theme. Still had a blast playing it! Also, I felt it was a little repetitive at some point

Yeah, I've taken the theme as : a normal game with an intentional bug that makes the game more interesting. But I've seen most people take it literally as : a game about bugs. I might have misinterpreted the theme. :/ But there two bugs that changes the gameplay a lot :)
Yeah it's pretty repetitive at the end, I should take more time polishing a shorter more interesting game instead of trying to do a long one.
