few questions:

when is the next update coming?

what will it add?

also some aquatic animal suggestions:

aquatic fish should be able to be on a team (red and blue) so fish that are on the red side only attack blue,not other reds.and there should be just random fish (for example:a shark that isn't on red or blue)

swordfish(they jump out of the water and slice enemys to pieces special thing about this fish:it ignores armour)

pikefish(does less damage then a swordfish and can ignore armour too)

piranha (does little damage but does a lot in swarms special thing about fish:brothers in fins((if a piranha is near another piranha,both piranhas get a damage boost))

blue whale (a super big whale that belly flops onto ships)

squid (special thing:ink ((when its hurt it will let out a bunch of ink that stuns and hurts enemys))

boss aquatic animals:

mega piranha(a super big piranha that also has brothers in fins and does more damage then a regular piranha)

megalodon(a very big shark that does a lot more damage then a regular shark and has bloodlust((sometimes will get a sudden burst of hunger and do even more damage then usal))

sharks should also have bloodlust

kraken (a huge squid that will grab ships and pull them down to the bottom of the ocean special thing:lord of squids ((spawns a bunch of angry squids that attack everything))

Moby Dick (a very very very large white whale that belly flops onto ships and does double damage against squids and the kraken and it does more damage then a blue whale)

Leviathin(bigger then Moby Dick and it swallows ships whole special thing:Lord of Aquatic ((can spawn any fish even bosses and spawns water warriors that are very strong and can spawn with any armour and weapon and shield))

I will add some of this then I have the time.

Next update (26th February) will heavily improve the performance. I have one last problem and if all goes well, I will increase the performance from 35fps to 60+ fps with 100 melee units. I will write more details about that in the next devblog.

The new movement system will also allow me to add unflat terrain, maybe aI will add that, too.

There will be many fixes and small new features. More procedural battles (sieges and deahmatch).

Of course the ocean battles and I would like to improve the graphics, too.

Once I finished the new AI system, I would like to update the experimental versions to test the performance on other computer. But this will take about a week, because I can't work at the AI the whole time, because it's really exhausting.
