I feel like this game is inspired by Brain Dead 13. That deadly game that can kill the main character in too many ways if not avoided, but the main character has infinite lives, so he can't get a game over, also great game!
Never heard of 'Brain Dead 13' before. It seems to have come out a bit before my time!
The original inspiration for FOXXX was a commission I wrote for a DOOM mod. I liked some of the ideas I'd come up with and decided to spin it out into its own thing.
