Definitely loved the music and art. If you made all by yourself, then it's amazing.

Pretty good overall, but could have been more fun with more FX. (better gun sounds, knock back, hit sounds, screen shake or anything that adds to game feel) Also, maybe a larger capacity for the gun could help, or maybe a weaker infinite ammo backup. (But the weapon was weak by default, so I don't know what an even weaker backup weapon would do.)

Nice visuals and animations. The movement felt smooth and the ability to look at the map was a nice feature. I think some indication that the enemies were getting hit would be nice. Maybe like an animation, a color change, or a slowness/knock-back to their movement would make it more satisfying for the player. The spider enemies were really cool as well; nice artwork and positioning for them.

Yeah, some visual feedback to the hits would be nice. I didn't even think about adding visual feedback to the hits.
