Read the manual.

I'm a noob lol that goes over my head

Can't help you then.

Sorry this is a year late.

There's a section in the manual that explains how the FSM (Finite State Machine) works. It basically allows you to program weapons, decorations, and enemies on a frame-by-frame basis. It allows a lot more flexibility. Only one action can be ran per "frame," which is how the FSM segments everything. So the default  animation moves the weapon down, reloads the gun, moves the weapon back up, then plays the sound. Since each of those is an action, it's put at the end. But you can use the FSM to increase the number of "frames." So you could put the sound earlier, and make it move onto the next frame almost instantly, so that the sound is playing while the gun moves down and reloads.

Also, sorry for Kesha. He's unfortunately one of the bad parts of EFPS you have to deal with if you're gonna be active on the forums. Always a dick, and has nothing useful to say, just some variation of "git gud." You can literally just ignore him and suffer no loss.

Yeah, look at you - taking money for low-q EFPSE crap. Shame on you.

Wow, a loser gatekeeping free software.

(-1)

Free ban.

(+2)

They're right, though. You are the one thing that about this community that I genuinely don't like. Glad someone finally said it. You could just be nicer in general and the community would be more inviting to noobs.

(-1)

Nicer? How? I should somehow nicer tell them to read the manual? If people think I will taught them something that described already, or not knowing a simple basics or lack of ability to read, then I can't help. Zero. If you guys are so soft, then you should drop gamedev. Otherwise I have no idea how you will accept any kind of possible negative feedback.

Banning people for saying "don't be a dick," doesn't exactly come off as very tough. Bizarre for someone to be all high and mighty about "negative feedback" after reacting so poorly to "be nice."

I make games for fun. Most of us do. It's called a "community" for a reason. We're all here to help each other out and have fun with the software. Being a dick and gatekeeping techniques does nothing but communicate that you're not someone worth asking. If you're going to do nothing but tell people you're not going to tell them anything, why are you even here?

Yeah, maybe some info is in the manual already, but the manual isn't always clear, and it's easy to miss a small detail when you're scanning the whole thing for one piece of info. If you're only going to insult people who are brand new to the software, again why are you even here?

People who think being a dick is a sign of strength are the weakest losers out there. Competing for the biggest penis in a hobbyist arena with zero stakes is so stupid.

I'm sure you'll just ban me like you did the others who simply said "stop being a dick," in order to feel like you "won." Isn't it funny how the biggest assholes react so poorly to someone being mildly unkind to them? Such thin skin. But sure, you have the biggest penis in this tiny niche area of the internet. So congrats, I guess.

Edited to add: the first guy you banned actually helped the person asking the question. Weird that you pointedly don't answer, then someone says, "yeah ignore him, he's like that," and provides an answer, but somehow that's banworthy? Definitely cuck behavior.

(-2)

Ain't gonna ban you just because you trying to be reasonable, unlike your "friends" you trying to protect. Need to note that they got banned for other words in other thread, acting really mean? So make sure you know the context first instead of saying "they do nothing but help".

The finny thing is that you guys started a nuclear war over bloody nothing. You were waiting for a whole year, discussing that situation in some Discord server, just to raise the dust for what? For get some free bans I presume.

I helped a lot of people and they're still grateful for it. You won't take it into account, you just want to be heated over "read the manual" sentence. Care to elaborate how "read the manual" can be considered as something offensive/insulting? You saying I'm insulting people. This is how it looks:

- How to make a proper reloading?

- With FSM.

- What is it?

- Read the manual.

- Uuuuh, can't read :((((((

- Can't help you then.

Remember a wise word from someone in our Discord server? "It is the Easy FPS Editor, not Zero-effort FPS Editor". And if you don't even want to try to read, then seriously, what can I do? Feed you with a spoon? Hell no. I agree to help people who at least tried to do something, like with scripting. There's 90% chance that people will write their script with errors, and I'm glad to correct them, just because they TRIED. If someone think I will put a food in their mouth, then they should drop gamedev asap.  If you don't want to understand such a position, then can't help you either.

And. You tend to say about "smol/big dikk" and stuff, but why your "friends" were so smol dikked to say anything like that in dm or in server? So now they're trying to cluck behind others back, just to get support. But hell, they were thinking they will get away with it, provoking me for no reason? HEH. So, I can only recommend them to stop being institutionalized, touch some grass and start to be reasonable. Just like you.

I've been lurking for a year and I've been too reluctant to participate because of the way you treat people. Here are some things you should consider:

1. Being a civilized human being and treating others with basic respect costs you nothing whatsoever, and helps create a harmonious community. You can very easily communicate "This is in the manual" without being rude and condescending. Instead, anyone who comes in here seeking help is met with hostility. It puts people off wanting to join the community, and by the looks of it, a lot of people within the community appear to hold negative opinions of you.  Wouldn't you prefer it if people actually liked you?

2. The manual isn't as easy for everyone else to understand as you claim it is. The whole thing is written in broken English, and there's at least one grammar/punctuation error in almost every sentence. I appreciate it was clearly written by someone whose first language isn't English, but you should be mindful this creates additional roadblocks for English-speaking users.

3. Different people are wired differently. It's obvious from your interactions with others that you have Autism Spectrum Disorder, which makes it a lot easier for you to learn things like scripting language. For others, it may take longer. Personally, I'm a practical learner, so I wasn't able to make sense of the manual until after I downloaded some unprotected EFPS projects and studied some of the .script files. (On this note, the instructions Retro Trash Games provided above were great, because they actually took into consideration, "Maybe this person doesn't understand the manual. I'll try rephrasing it in different words instead.")

I'm 100% sure that you're smarter than me and almost everyone else here when it comes to scripting/coding and all that technical computer stuff. But you display the emotional intelligence and maturity of a toddler in every post, and it's thoroughly unimpressive. Banning people for saying "I find this behavior rude" is the height of pettiness and immaturity. How could any grown adult possibly respect someone who behaves like that? (Also, fact that you ban people for mildly criticizing you while simultaneously making fun of others for not being able to take criticism demonstrates an astonishing lack of self-awareness)

Likewise, painting the backlash as a conspiracy is beyond ridiculous. If a person mistreats those around them for long enough, someone will eventually turn around and ask them to stop. That's not a "nuclear war," that's just a person experiencing consequences for their own behavior.

No one in the world likes being talked down to. But do you know what everyone does like? Being treated with civility and respect. Why not just try being a decent person for a month and see what a difference it makes? You have nothing to lose. No one will think you're any less smart, and you might even make a friend or two.
