Wow, a loser gatekeeping free software.

Not beating the asshole allegations.

Hi! Just wanted to comment that the newest dev build has a bug where if you check "Render All Geometry" then enemies can see you from infinite distance instead of the fog distance, making outdoor levels pretty hard to make.

Example: I have a level that is inside/outside with a couple buildings, fog at 500, starry night skybox. Having "Render All Geometry" unchecked causes you to be able to see the skybox inside the building, as once the fog reaches 100%, it just shows the skybox, since it's not rendering geometry. Plus, it causes a lot of pop-in during the outside portions. If I check "Render All Geometry" the skybox and pop-ins don't happen any more, but being in the open activates all enemies in the level that can get line of site, even if they are way outside of the fog distance. They can even fire from way outside the fog range. So going on a roof activates all the enemies on other roofs and the ones on the ground, as long as they have line of sight, when normally, they would stay inactive until the player makes their way there.

My current workaround is just not having a skybox, since then everything just disappears into the fog color, and the rest of the engine works as intended. It would be nice to have a skybox, but that's not a huge issue since it's a night level. And this is probably not too often of a problem, since it only happens if you make an indoor/outdoor combo level.

Just wanted to note it for any future updates that may happen.

I hope to get most of my games on Steam at some point this year. It costs money to publish on Steam, so it'll be a bit before I get to it.

Thank you so much! This really made my day!

Those were all things I had tried really hard to focus on in this one, so it really means a lot to hear that it all worked! Thanks for playing, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Hey! Great idea! I had the thought at one point, but never ended up implementing it. I am actually currently working on a gallery system for my next game, so it wouldn't be hard to come back and add it to this one.

Not in this game. But that is something I'm thinking about tackling in a future project.

It's free and easy to use, plus has a decent bit of advanced customization if you're willing to script.

Thanks! :D
