Nice game, I shall state what I think needs improving first. The controls were a little unresponsive and floaty, it may be a good idea to have the player stop more quickly and react more quickly to button presses. I like the way the player bobs up and down, it make him feel cute and squishy, more "sludge" like. Nice job!
