really enjoyed this! the art is endearing especially considering the theme of the game. there was a fair bit of reading required but that's to be expected with many boardgames. it's a fun dilemma trying to decide whether to take a lower tier candy early and lose an item versus risk it for a later one that is harder to get. i enjoyed a couple runs with different characters and trying out their different items (bubble wand my beloved) trying to min max candy income. the digital board game aspect gives you a somewhat tactile connection to the game which i find helps keep me engaged - in fact i did a project exploring digital flash cards as a form of study tool, and the clicking and dragging cards to match them keeps players engaged in a somewhat similar line as physical cards do. maybe something to be said about not automating everything for the player. great stuff!

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! I have been kicking around the idea of a "physical" digital game for a while, but this was my first really attempt. It's so encouraging to hear that this clicked with you! Thanks for taking the time to play multiple runs!
