Fair point, appreciate it! Not having anyone else test it certainly didn't help haha, will make sure to do that next time! Thanks for checking it out!

Randomized zones can have overlap since it just keeps picking any random zone and does not care if the zone is already active. It something I just threw together when I got tired from the main game and it was not meant to be fair/balanced lmao, but yes if I thought it through having mixed zones where you both take and deal damage might make for some interesting decisions! I like the way you think haha.
Solid game! I enjoyed having the freedom to approach levels with a variety of options, but like others said having the option to undo or remove a block would have been a very nice QOL instead of having to reset everything when you misplaced a block. Introducing new environmental challenges is very welcome in this kind of game to keep things from getting to repetitive! Great foundation overall!
Great chill game! I enjoyed figuring out the best places to put my flowers and finding cool combos and the trophies are a nice touch too. With more content and maybe some extra idle animations I could see this being a cute second screen game I leave running while doing other stuff. Overall well done!
Good stuff! Neat idea, and I love the idea of a goblin scurrying around inside a bag as an adventurer sits there waiting for hit item to be delivered lol. Was just hoping for another curveball to change things up a bit other than just the time getting shorter. Music did stop playing for me about halfway through as well. But what is there is pretty solid!
hey thanks for checking it out! yep that was a route i forgot to test after i added some other states i was going to use later, and never got around to removing the dead body. that is all the game has to offer though currently so you didn't miss anything, more of a proof of concept than a full game at the moment. thank you for the kind words!
solid game! didn't run into any issues while playing, except for the hub area being laggy while the rest of the game was fine. music was good but might get a bit repetitive over time. i love how violent the flamethrower is, but personally the screen shake was a bit much. movement was precise which is necessary to not be aggravating in this type of game, tiling was cheeky in places but clear enough once you get used to each level. game is short enough to do multiple runs and aim for better times, finding spots to shave off a couple seconds was good fun. well done overall!
really enjoyed this! the art is endearing especially considering the theme of the game. there was a fair bit of reading required but that's to be expected with many boardgames. it's a fun dilemma trying to decide whether to take a lower tier candy early and lose an item versus risk it for a later one that is harder to get. i enjoyed a couple runs with different characters and trying out their different items (bubble wand my beloved) trying to min max candy income. the digital board game aspect gives you a somewhat tactile connection to the game which i find helps keep me engaged - in fact i did a project exploring digital flash cards as a form of study tool, and the clicking and dragging cards to match them keeps players engaged in a somewhat similar line as physical cards do. maybe something to be said about not automating everything for the player. great stuff!
this is super legit! the graphics, the tunes, the vibes are perfect. nailed the old school look and feel. the platforming was fun and the double jump was neat to nail tough jumps. one thing might be the combat felt that i didn't have full agency in the sense that it was hard to consistently land shots even with the lock on, so i ended up just firing an unending barrage of shots and just jumping/waiting until the enemy died. but it could just be a skill issue idk. thoroughly enjoyed it, and is definitely something i would play if it was fleshed out fully.
hope you take it as a compliment, but it feels like a game i'd have on my phone and would pop on to try for a high score while waiting around for a couple minutes and trying to reach the next point goal to unlock a skin or color palette or some other small reward. i love that the game is simple but the execution is not, trying to maximize your gold to time spent is really fun. i personally don't mind the death ending your run, as it makes hitting a perfect run feel all the more satisfying and if you do have a good run going you might play it safe to eke out just a few more points. i dig the artstyle and the satisfying bloop sounds, and the buoyancy feels really nice. great stuff!
cool stuff! settings button didn't do anything for me on the web version, but other than that everything worked great! the platformer section was neat with the powerups required to make the next section of jumps. took me a second to figure out the backtrack but i appreciate sidescrollers that use both left and right directions for forward progress. the second level was also neat, i like how it was almost a puzzle rather than a typical jrpg fight - à la tower of the sorcerer and it's niche genre decedents. might be nice to have an indicator for when the enemy is burning/burn turns remaining, but was easy enough to count it out myself. overall a well put together package - art was clear, music was catchy, objective/direction was easy enough to understand. well done!
good stuff! very reminiscent of the frog detective games - low-stakes adventure with fun characters. didn't experience any issues and the game was clear enough so i was never lost on where to go. the ending jingle was a nice touch haha. the background music was a bit loud with no option to turn it down, and got a bit repetitive towards the end but nothing crazy. great complete package!
very neat! everything worked for me except the visualizer and bgm selector on the web build, switching through the list didn't change anything. it's unfortunate that the web version messed with your sounds considering that's the point of it and not everyone wants to go download an emulator if they don't already have one. visuals are nicely done and fit the theme perfectly, and I liked the different palettes (cool how they affect the main screen too!). the title did have me expecting some kind of falling block game going into it haha, doesn't really advertise itself as a sound toy imo. overall i think its pretty cool! (and i love the little vocal chops you got in there)
Yeah it was working pretty well, I think as long as both people have decent enough internet then it works nicely. I asked him about it and he said it wasn’t bad to play with, so I think it wouldn’t hurt to mention it for people who don’t know about Parsec to have the opportunity to still play with friends online.
