OK.. i have check that and all make more sense now. It seen that my game was under review (The problem was magically fixed after publishing this post)

But i have to ask why are 3 diferent pages over this topic?(DOCs, guilines, and your personal post).

if the information were in one single page, people like my will not show up.

this problem from my perspective:

1. Wen i published the game, i think that i will show up. (itch: But you have  not read the guidelines)

2. after reading the guideline and seen that my game don't show up. (itch: ask for help in this email)

3. In the email i don't get  respond and decided to post here (itch: make sure to read the DOC of this topic before posting here)

4. After reading the DOC, i finally get the answer from you in a separated post.

Thank for the help really, but why the information is so spread out?

aditional note: after posting here I also received the answer via email XD

You did? Was there any info in that answer? As you might have noticed there are many such threads, but I did not get the impression that support would answer indexing problems directly and rather just index the game eventually.

And you also noticed the same problem that I see. At the places where people need certain information it is not available in a clear and unmistakeable way. That leads to many unneccessary mails to support and also to threads in community about the issue. And instead of discussing the issue, many such threads are closed, the topic itself is kinda against the rules, but then it is not if you write your ticket number in the thread, turning the open community into a technical support board. If you want to discuss the topic in general, you might do here https://itch.io/t/4184592/scope-of-communty-and-support-overlapping

yes, there is information in the answer of "No Time To Play".

In short, if you don't get enough attention to your game (people following the game via links), the game will not  be indexed (The post say that you will not be given priority when it comes to having your game reviewed. But seeing that my game was indexed after I posted here, I guess that's not the whole truth.)

i wonder how itch really handle the support email and the indexation of games.
