Also, since nobody else gave a warning in the comments. And the devs are just mean like that.
IF YOU DO NOT ENJOY CHEATING, CUCKING, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME

Why are you being me? Im just giving proper warning so thoes who dont like things like that wont suffer the same fate as me

Those crazy fans would probably say he did it all to protect Marco, but that’s nonsense. Forgiveness doesn’t necessarily mean trust, and trust definitely doesn’t always mean love, and love doesn’t necessarily mean marriage.

Snowflake alert! 🤣

you aren’t supposed to enjoy it.  the entire point of the scene is to shock the reader.  not everything in this game is for wish fulfillment

Why on earth would i play a game if not for enjoyment. Again, a warning wouldve done well.

sometimes games are supposed to make you feel bad because they exist to tell a thematically compelling/emotionally impactful story rather than purely make a person feel good.  that scene wasn’t particularly enjoyable to me either but i’m glad it exists because of how it serves the characters’ development and the story in general.

as for a warning, yeah i’ll concede that that may have been warranted.

When Aerith dies in FF7 it doesn't make you feel good, but it doesn't make you feel bad. It's still enjoyable. The scene in this game was not enjoyable, it almost hurt my stomach even

Like, even when Aerith dies in FF7 its still 'enjoyable'
