It's actually super easy. Just get a USB enclosure for laptop size data hard drives from amazon. Many are cheap and will work in a pinch.

I hope my mac can read from the windows hard drive - I'm not a programmer or technician by trade, so this is very unfamiliar territory for me. I'll be sure to do some research before trying any of this, of course. But thanks for the tips!
