I like this idea but that's a lot of text for a card. I think it would work better if you edited down the text to just open and closing a portal with a limited time use.
You would have hated the original version, which was even longer. 😅
BTW, I added two alternative versions... A longer one (the original draft) and a shorter one (based partially on your comments).
