I frickin loved the story, it was so random, and just ran with it. I actually ended up liking the art style, cos even tho it wasn't AAA, it had some neat charm. The death scenes and the character faces were really funny. I also loved how open the world was, when I eventually gave up with the pie-boulder things, I had the choice to explore somewhere else first, which was really nice. The teleporting mechanic is also really cool, a great twist on a metroidvania. Great stuff, could've just used some expansion and polish.
