That is strange... If I jump from there I always land on that wooden stair above. :-) I will try again.
And did you manage to get over the spikes?
No, I didn't. I used WinUAE Savestates and retried a dozen times without success.The spikes are not the problem, I do not reach them because my jump ends on that wooden stair. Don't know if its a keyboard problem I am playing with. :-)
