I wasn't sure what I'd think of the jumping/shooting mechanic, but it was more fun than I expected. Nice work! I hear you on the surprise busyness. :(
Also, I saw what you did with that boss there. ;) I had to see what would happen if it bit me, and I was not disappointed!
