Hey There, Seppi here.

I want to start out with saying that everyone who participated, great job - just finishing the jam is something to be proud of!

While there are no losers, having played all the games, I want to take a moment to shout out to some of my favorite entries.

With that out of the way, I want to hand out the prestigious "Seppi Award"  for the following entries:

Best Roleplaying Game - CARDASTRA | ANOMALY

CARDASTRA | ANOMALY is a RPG for 3-4 players with a science fiction theme.

For me the design second to the game. This game not only creates a distinct atmosphere that brings a great game mechanics and a role-playing scenario, but does it in an attractive format. Congratulations, Cog5Games.

Best Roleplaying Experience - The Esteemed Order of Disgruntled Hedgehogs

The Esteemed Order of Disgruntled Hedgehogs is light in game mechanics, but heavy in authenticity. While one can easily agree that following a few steps is a rather straightforward roleplay experience, one thing you may have missed is how the design of the card creates a tangible and fun goal. Completing the initiation rites of this games allows you to join this fantastic order, and easily encourages others to join. Sure the barrier to entry is low, but this is an experience to behold. Congratulations, Star West.

Best Game Experience - Adventurous

Adventurous is a solo RPG that takes retro inspiration but melds it into the real world.  Providing a few maps to make the game repayable, the interaction between the game and the game map creates a truly interesting adventure. You might get some weird looks while playing this game, but when imagination is king, nothing can stop you from slaying that dragon. Congratulations, James Gabrielsen.

Honorable Mentions:

It would be remiss of me not to mention the runner ups. Here they are in no particular order:

Join the Resistance! by Kobold In a Box (https://koboldinabox.itch.io/join-the-resistance) - Get into the spirit and fight for your right.

About Seppi:

Hello, I am a game developer. I made this game for the jam: https://itch.io/jam/business-card-jam/rate/516450

To any IRL friends that joined the jam: your games were disqualified from the "Seppi Award" since it would be unfair to the other jammers.

You misunderstand. I never said the games were not worth attention.

I'd just rather not show favoritism, because I would put my friend's games on this list.
