There's a greyed out option of "notions of space, you can try and reach for one." I don't know how to make that option available

That might mean you'll need to progress the story a bit more before it opens up
I've actually reached the end of the game. I have no more quests. Nothing ignored. I do get the prompt but I can't click on the dialogue option because it's grey
