You can try our Patreon (which has a few mirror downloads, highres and compressed downloads, and, our patching system).

Can you drop your save here for me? It might be a bug. You can find your saves in AHITR > Game > Saves.

(ahitr_storage on Android).

You can use any file sharing site of your choosing and drop the link here. Just make sure the link isn't set to private.

You can either back up to cloud storage of your choosing "Google Drive, etc" or use a USB cable.

Your saves will be in AHITR > Game > Saves.

Some quests were removed or moved to the lewd tracker in your in game phone.

The main story should be quests with plain black font with a slightly white background.

Have you checked your "ignore" tab in the quest log, just in case something got moved there?

What other quests do you have in your log? You may need to progress her or others quests first and then try again.

Could you try downloading the .rpa from our Patreon? You'll need a Patreon account (free to make). Sometimes the downloads on Itch are a bit wonky.

If that doesn't work, the only other thing I could recommend is downloading JoiPlay and grabbing the PC version of AHITR.

Recheck to make sure the launcher has all permissions enabled. If so, I'd recommend doing a clean/fresh install of both the launcher and .rpa

Saves carry over automatically! So all you have to do is launch the newer version and they'll sync over.

If you'd like to make a manual backup, your saves are located in AHITR - Game - Saves.

That looks to be a partially downloaded file (or corrupted file).

.part files are usually the temporary file that's placed while downloading the actual file.

Hey Jarbitus!

You download the new .rpa file, place it where the old one is ("game" folder), delete the old .rpa and boot up the launcher.

Pretty much the same process as setting up the game for the first time.

You can copy n paste images directly and there's an image button too.

This file might (if it was only present during the download) be the temporary file that is in place while the game downloads.

This might be something on the backend that can't exactly pinpoint where you saved it, so it saves/loads the nearest area. This might happen on some occasions, but shouldn't do it all the time!

AHITR is, and always be, free. There are a few dreams that are Patreon exclusive, but everything else is available in the free version of the game. 

The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public.

This is the Patreon schedule, it drops everywhere else a bit later, and with changes here on Itch on how adult content is handled, we've had to approach things differently for Itch (We're still figuring things out for those who had previously purchased the game here).

This might be an issue with the Itch servers, causing the downloads to corrupt your game files.

On PC, I'd make sure you have no anti-virus software blocking the download, and try again.

On Android, make sure there's enough space for the download and unpacking process and for the launcher to have all necessary permissions.

Unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with Linux. A comment below helped a Linux user install their game, maybe it might help? If not, I hope someone can drop by and give some proper help :)

Here's that comment:

"Just unarchive it and run "installdir/ahitr.sh".

The permissions should be set properly, but if not you might have to make it executable first.

Note that it will store master copies of your saves in ~/.renpy, so just do the same thing again when updating to a new version. It will automatically re-import them."

I would recommend making a save at that point in the story when you have the talk with her.

If you're a backer on Patreon (or one of our other sites) you should have access to 8.06. However the current free version is 8.04.

You can download, extract and run. Saves will carry over automatically.

If on Android, download the .rpa and move it to the "game" folder like you would have when installing the game for the first time. Delete the old .rpa and launch the game. Saves also carry over.

If using our patch system, you can drop the patch.exe into the game folder, run it and follow the prompts. You can only use the highres patch with the highres game and the compressed with the compressed.

Las únicas opciones de idioma para AHITR actualmente son inglés y ruso. Había una traducción al español hecha por fans, pero no se ha actualizado en años, así que se supone que está abandonada.

Nos gustaría tener algunas opciones de idioma en el juego, pero la localización no es una prioridad ahora mismo. Sin embargo, si la implementáramos, lo sería con traducciones automáticas.

The only language options for AHITR right now are English and Russian. There was a fan translation for Spanish but it hasn't been updated in years, so its assumed abandoned.

We would eventually like to have a few language options in the game, but localization isn't a top priority right now. It would be with machine translations if we pursued it, though.
