Saves are located in ahitr_storage (example Internal Storage/documents/ahitr_storage). They will look something like "1-1-lt1"

If you still have saves like that, back them up/upload them somewhere.

To avoid conflicting issues, delete all your AHITR folders/files and follow this fresh installation guide here: https://rift.ink/3PADL3p

After, you can place your saves in ahitr_storage and resume where you left off!

There is some rare instances where saves don't sync over to the latest version of the game.

You can go back to the previous version folder (if you still have it) > game > saves

Copy or move that saves folder into the newest version.

If you've deleted the previous version, you can find a back up here:

AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHouseintheRift

You can copy or move all the files in that folder, into your new version "save" folder.

On PC, download, extract and run. Saves will sync over automatically.

On Android, place the new .rpa file into the "game" folder (like you would have initially for the first time), delete the old .rpa and launch the game!

Saves also carry over automatically on Android!

Hey abuh!

Your saves will in ahitr_storage, and look something like 1-1-LT. Transfer these to your PC (You can use a USB cable, upload to your gdrive or whatever method you prefer).

On PC navigate to AHITR folder > game > saves (If no saves folder is there either create a folder named saves or boot the game up once)

Place the save from mobile in there and you're done! Be sure to grab your "persistent" file too!

Our release schedule is as follows: The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month.

About a week later the Beta build is released.

Then after another week the Early Access version is released. 

Then about a month later this version goes free and public. This is our Patreon schedule, so it differs elsewhere. Free version takes a tad bit longer to release here on Itch.

8.12 should be free towards the end of next month on Patreon.

There can be a lot of overlapping triggers, and I would definitely recommend trying to complete a characters quest before pursuing other characters, though sometimes it can't be avoided.

The premium version is usually ahead of the free version by 2 versions/updates. It's also a once off payment, giving you access to future premium versions. It's a way to support us and get your hands on the updates a lot sooner.

However, if you're happy tackling the game whenever, I'd stick to free version as the game will always be free, just takes a tad bit longer to see those updates.

The way the lewdness system works in the game, is sort of like that. You need to have certain lewdness (and intimacy) to see certain events or sex scenes!

Though I completely get your request for a more traditional relationship system.

If you haven't already, make sure the app has the necessary permissions granted. It could be a faulty .rpa download so I'd recommend redownloading and trying again, but grabbing from our Patreon (the servers on Itch can be a little wonky).

Could you retry downloading the .rpa? It could be a faulty download. Once you've downloaded, you can delete any old .rpa you have in the "game" folder.

Could you also provide a screenshot of the error?
