If you're using the Itch Launcher, you can directly download from here instead if you'd like. Download, unzip and run.

Saves will sync over automatically.

Updates/New versions take a tad bit longer to release on Itch. If you'd like to obtain the free version as soon as you can, I'd recommend checking out our Patreon release. It requires a Patreon account (free to create if you don't have one already).

Saves should syn over from your Itch version too. In the rare case is doesn't.

Go to where AHITR is located on your system. In the "game" folder you'll find "saves" - You can copy or move that folder over to the location, in the same place, if your saves don't sync.

On PC, you can download, extract and run. Saves will syn over automatically.

On Android, drop the .rpa game pack into the "game" folder (like you would have when installing for the first time), delete the old .rpa and launch the game. Saves will also syn over automatically!

Saves will look like "5-2-LT1"

If you need info on where the saves are:

PC

Where your game folder is located, you'll have a "game" folder where the .exe is. Inside the "game" folder you'll have "saves".

Example: C:\AHouseInTheRift-GameVersionHere\game\saves

Android:

You can find your Android saves in "ahitr_storage".

Example: Internal Storage/documents/ahitr_storage.

At the moment, it is unknown how many endings there will be, but as you've mentioned, it would be highly recommended that you save at those decisions to reload at a later time. You should be able to rollback but if you've progressed passed it, you may not be able to and unfortunately, will have to create a new save.

In regards to pregnancy content, we have no plans to add it.

Which scenes are you missing for Cait and Lyriel?

As of right now, we do have a few dreams that have both lewd sounds and voice acting.

We do tests every so often and something we'd like to look at down the road, but for the base game, this is something that isn't a top priority right now.

Sorry you're experiencing issues extracting the Mac version of the game. 

I'm unfortunately unfamiliar with the Mac side of things, but, if you're extracting and nothing appears, this could be your antivirus blocking the game from being extracted. If you do have anything running, either allow the game through or temporarily disable it while you extract the game.

Placing the saves in "ahitr_storage" should work.

Example: Internal Storage/documents/ahitr_storage.
