Ahh!! Dude this was so scary!! Haha I had to laugh at myself, I had to literally like walk away and take a break cuz I was getting so legitimately scared. Really fantastic atmosphere, you're so good at that. 

The art is so cute and well balanced tone / readability wise. I didn't even realize until WAY late in the game that the palette was so limited and that REALLY speaks to how well it's done. The sprites were readable and creepy when they needed to be and the character art looks so nice! I loved all the small details in the house and how familiar I felt with the house by the end.

I thought the slow reveal of the messed up pictures was so well done, it was so creepy and unreality and eerie! It reminded me of this weird kids movie my little brother loved, Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland? There's this part where he thinks he's woken up but he's STILL in the nightmare and his room is just a little OFF and it used to completely TERRIFY me as a child haha. The unreality vibe of this game really reminded me of that, REALLY well done.

I appreciated all the small dialogue changes, that kind of thing is so little and SO satisfying when you notice it. I loved the perspective of the art, the way it felt like I was peering into a TV, if that makes sense haha. The way the stairs just disappeared was really unsettling haha. 

Certainly cannot wait for Chapter 2 <3
