Reaction from the Jams:
Really fun game. Had to download it tho since the browser version didnt work too good (3 fps lmao).
"El primo" coming ot of nowhere to knock me out was a jumpscare to be honest. Got the dog but could not find the other ones lmao.
Great work for a 2 days game.
It was fun, I liked the sounds, but the houses switching color made it hard to remember where the pets that I still needed to get were
This game is incredible for a 48 hour jam. I appreciated the effort which went into putting all of this together. The game was fun, very entertaining and I found moments when I was laughing out loud or scared and running for my life. I feel that the wrestlers are too fast, once they spot you it is very difficult to escape from them. I found the clocks but couldn't find the rabbit and I needed the speed boost badly.
Anagh's dancing moves are much better than his pet rescue skills. Jumping also felt buggy I wanted to jump over fences to avoid the wrestler. Ambitious 3D project! good job!
Pretty cool game, alright one complaint is that the mouse sensitivity was pretty low which made it a bit difficult traversing through the map, other than that, you did a great job!
Well, I tested the executable version... And that was a pretty impressive example of dedication for such a short game jam! It is an amazingly ambitious game that deserves a lot of attention.
What I would advise:
- Set the jump height to be a lot higher, so we can jump over fences.
- Add some kind of transition screens between levels.
- Increase the camera turning speed.
- Most importantly, even though you must be focusing mostly on the code aspect of game development, maybe try to make everything yourself and lower the scale of the project.
There was a lot of great ideas but knowing that so much was borrowed from many different websites made me feel like the game was a bit messy in its scenario, even though this gives it a hilarious aspect! Especially the kick to open the door which felt really good!
You put that well together, have a nice day!
