It was a magical time period. I loved the thrill of discovering a game I'd never seen in a magazine or anywhere. I'm glad someone else loved to just get lost in those instruction manuals. It was like being invited into a completely different world.
Oh my goodness, yes, exactly! So many games never got covered in a magazine, and I didn't get all the magazines so there were loads that probably were in one but I discovered on store shelves.
