That, however, is a developer choice generated problem, by limiting support to Patreon. Releasing the game on different platforms (at least on platforms that do not require a constant upkeep with payments), would generate more income and in turn, more feedback.

Especially if you consider that there are countries where paying on Patreon is not a popular option, simply because Patreon is not a well-known platform - I would never pay there, personally, simply cause it's not well spread or known in my country, hence I will not trust it with my card.

While I understand issues, work-life balance and limitations, we do have to keep in mind that there are more likely to be solutions than not.

It makes sense to stop the discussion here, but there is still a relationship between the objectivity of the surveys and the limitations of Patreon. The poll results for many games could be completely different.
