Oh! That's a pretty bad bug... thank you for reporting it to me!I'll be uploading a new version today then still, since it's game breaking and makes the update otherwise pretty pointless.
I've updated the game just now, in case you haven't found a way to get out there yet, this time you should be able to transfer the save files!
