We need more games like this. So bizarre and trippy, I love it. I agree with the readability issue others have mentioned. It also would be nice to know who is talking since I don't know which character is which. I also feel like a health bar would be a better indicator of how well I'm doing as opposed to numbers. The gameplay was quite innovative. I was actually forced to develop a strategy to win and then needed the skill to execute that strategy. Well done and I look foreword to seeing more episodes.

Points well taken.  Thanks for playing!

Interesting game. Not really sure what's going on or how it relates to the theme but it's still interesting at least.

The visuals are really cool. As the others said, the text is a little bit hard to read. It's a fun game, great job !

Thank you for taking the time to play and provide feedback.  I am so thankful for these comments regarding the font choice as I now have the opportunity to course correct early for the full series release.  An example of overloading the style and thereby detracting away from the story and overall game experience.

That said, I am happy that you still got something out of this!

Not sure what just happened but I enjoyed the ride. The font is a bit hard to read but does add to the weird presentation.

I'd be curious to know more about that music, I really liked it and it also contributed a lot to the vibe of the game.

Thank you for playing!  The music was a track I recorded with Filthy Kleen Productions in Ventura, CA back in 2007.  I don't recall the vinyl we used for the sample, but Phil's a true oldschool turntablist and the track is as much his as it is mine!

To the black hole...

Great story and presentation! I just wish that the textboxes were more readable and It would be great to have the fullscreen option

Developer

Thank you for the feedback--this is so helpful! The Windows version is set in fullscreen, but the browser version is not.  I will be sure to consider that for the future full release.

This game is enjoyable. It kind of gives me the feeling of playing an old Newgrounds game. I don't know if the background of the game blending into the background of the website was intentional, but I like that detail. This game does get me interested in playing the other games in the Mnomen series to see where the story goes. So good job.

Thank you very much for giving it a go and providing such meaningful feedback! They came out in the Newgrounds era and maybe brought in some of that energy. There was a DIY culture of hobbyists and tinkerers and it was sort of a wild west for game dev. I plan on re-releasing my long-lost back catalogue of works, Mnomen 1-4 included.  I would be delighted if you stuck around!
