Can I redo the game from the previous jam?

I was thinking, because two years ago I made game called Love Academy for the Yaoi Game Jam, and was wondering if I can participate with it for the Yaoi Game Jam 2021 instead of YaoiJam+ because we want to redo the game completely and not just finish it?

If it's a complete remake with new assets and changes to the story then you may submit it to YaoiJam. However, if you're just updating the game slightly and still using mostly your old assets and script then you must submit it into YaoiJam+, even if it's not completed, updates to previously released games are still accepted into YaoiJam+

Yeah, we're rewriting the dialogs, beacuse of a gig change in the main plot and protag, and remaking all the assets for the game
