I promise I don't have favourites, haha. When I started writing One Last Night in the Woods, Rohit was the only LI, but then I started writing Leo's character and thought "Oh no! He's hot!!" so now everyone get's two LIs.

Yes, unfortunately your game was one of the few being removed because it does not meet the rules of the jam. Your game was previously published and released on September 2024. Games submitted to yaoijam must be new and made for the jam of that year meaning previously published games are not allowed.

Yeah I wanted there to be an ending where they make amends and could rekindle their friendship. It can be so hard to admit fault and rebuild trust.

Unfortunately Jodeci and Nathaniel remain single in this game. Lol. But I really should work on Jodeci's sequel one day.

With itchio cracking down on games containing certain themes, I would recommend not making the characters 'Young Boys'. If you want to create a game with the themes your listed, best make the characters adults for now. 

And regarding brands, I have no problem with it.

Hi all. 

I've been playing around with Twine lately and have taken the opportunity to make a game for the jam while I'm learning how to use it. 

I've got the prologue of my story written, so I'm currently looking for teammates to collab with while I work on writing the rest of the game. Here's a little about the game: 

Title: One Last Night in the Woods

MC: Selectable pronouns (he/him or she/her) - a vampire

Love Interests: Two male LI - a werewolf and a hunter

Themes and Content Warning: Supernatural/ Violence / Blood and Gore / Dark / Death

The game is written in second person (You) and will be released for free. I'm hoping to finish the whole game in time for YaoiJam but if not I want to at least release the prologue. 

Teammates I'm looking for: 

- Editor / Proofreader 

- Character Artist (lineart or monochrome black and white images)

- SFX composer 

- Logo designer 

If you're keen to work on this project with me but don't fit into any of the above roles, please feel free to still reply and let me know what you can do. All positions are voluntary, but if you want to do a skill trade I can only offer beta reading services at the moment.

But unfortunately no, you wouldn't be allowed to submit an updated version of your 2024 game for 2025. Only new, unpublished games are allowed. 

There are other jams dedicated to completing projects that run throughout the year. I'd suggest keeping an eye on the itchio jam calendar to see when the next one is. 

As long as it features queer male-identifying characters, yes. TTRPGs are allowed.
