Cats are notorious for various odd behaviour choices they make I wanted to lean into their sudden urge to go outside only to turn around and want to go right back inside again.

That's quite alright, there's a beauty in simplicity and if you haven't had the chance to try it out for yourself then I implore you do so :)
Really love the artstyle here, this is also one of the shortest games in the jam so far (that I've tried)
Glad you enjoyed it, I've found that game jams are a great excuse to make short games which is awesome for me because I struggle with scope creep frequently xv
Definitely, scope creep (and general lack of skill perhaps) has been the bane of many a game jam project. (According to my Personal experience especially)
