I am beyond tickled to learn this was put together using google docs. Great work.

Thank you so much! I really wanted to use canva, but my subscription to pro expired. I am for sure making some additions and changes after the jam.

I’m duplicating some of what’s been said already, but your maps are really distinctive. Makes your work stand out.

And yay opera! We need more opera and music venues in rpgs.

The hallucinations are nice atmosphere. Kind of reminds me of that video game Eternal Darkness.

Developer

thank you so much! I want to do the music for it too in the near future! I need to go check Eternal Darkness now 🫡

Nice breakdown of rooms/keys. I love that. I feel like our adventures could be paired in an  urban anthology series. Thanks for submitting!

Developer

thank you so much! And yes. Our adventures go really well together!

I wish more opera houses could slip into ttrpg's, you have that classy horror grim vibe so fresh, so cool.

Yay thank you! I read the word opera in my assigned covers and immediately thought that there wasn't any opera themed anything and went for it. Might polish and expand after the jam.

You should, that would be awesome

Love the hand-drawn maps

Developer

Thank you! Glad you liked them :)

The hallucinations table is fun; your map fragments are helpful (great cross-hatching)!

I wondered if a trap door encounter leads to the underground (area 6) or only the trap door in Room C. I'm sure I could run it in whatever way seemed fun!

Developer

Thank you so much! I worked hard on that crosshatching :).

Yeah I kinda missed that I limited the only way down to be the trap door, but you could also work it into a secret revolving door or something. 😁

I love that you included the singing voices of the ghosts. I personally like the freeflowoing layout, but some see it as a bit... loose?

Anyway great job!

Thank you so much for checking it out! I need to practice layout more on google docs. I wanted to do a margin and some portrait frames for the NPCs. I also printed it and could've done a smaller font

Great theme! The bulleted lists for the areas make them evocative and easy to run and I like how they all come with little hand drawn depictions. Also several fun (music-themed) monsters to play with.

Developer

Thank you so much for checking it out! This is my first time publishing for Shadowdark and hopefully not the last!
