love the art
Thanks!
Dig the art! Giving me old-school final fantasy vibes. First sandbox submission I've seen, very creative. The sarcophagus armor made me laugh.
That's awesome! I love old-school FF art, although it wasn't intentional. Glad to hear you laughed haha
Any floating/flying site has my vote! :D
That's exactly my vibe too haha
I fou don't want to disqualify include the legal text from the Shadowdark publication guideline.
I really appreciate that you uploaded a smaller sised version of you work and I found the art incredibly awesome!
Thanks for pointing out this to me. Don't know if I'm goint to get disqualified anyway for re-uploading the files... but I guess you live and learn, right? haha
I love this. Reminds me of Planescape Torment visually. I also love the inclusion of the "Dramatis Personae". Perhaps a fan of the Tale of the Manticore? :)
Fan of Torment for sure, however I'm ignorant about the Tale of the Manticore, just found out now that you've mentioned it, I read that "Dramatis Personae" thingy on Storm King's Thunder and later on a Shakespeare script, and I thought it was a fancy way to label key NPC's.
this is so far my favorite, how modular it is, the dm knows as little as the players, short of the introduction. It’s risky, but I believe very true to shadowdarks ethos. Giving the art so much space, and using what looks like charcoal drawings, is a unique look. And creates a smoggy, chaotic cityscape, from the jump, really ducking good:)
Thank you for your very kind words, glad you like it that much.
Loving the vibe of it all. Also the hand drawn look makes it all come together.
Thank you, glad you like it
Truly fantastic art, and the vibe is so cool, awesome adventure.
Thanks! I felt very insecure about my illustrations; didn't have the time to do everything I wanted to.
🤘They look amazing
They’re real hecking good ─ nicely Di Terlizzigned
Thank you
Crushed it!!! Loved the art, absolutely great idea creating a fun randomized location to slide into 8 pages. Definitely one of my favorites!
Thanks!
Thanks! It was tricky to do, also because I wanted to sneak as many art as I could.
This is fantastic! Forget stopping at an adventure, you managed to squeeze a whole mini sourcebook into 8 pages. The hand-drawn art is great, really adds to the atmosphere of the world. I hope you release a larger version!
Thank you! It was a challenge, I don't know why but every time that I try to write a littel adventure or one-shot I end up worldbuilding past my own sanity haha. Also had to scrap the craziest and most complex ideas for it to fit in 8 pages, so I don't discard on expanding on it in the (near?) future.
How do I download this? it directs me to the itch.io page. but there is no download option that said page.
I was struggling with the software (haha), you can download it now.
