You hit the GB lookk and feel out of the park. I liked the game a lot. Please keep going.

Developer

Thanks! :D

I love the Game Boy esthetic. The controls are smooth and despite the resolution, it's always clear what is happening onscreen.

There is definitely some challenge to barbecuing those pesky hot dogs, since you can never quite predict where they're heading, but the game would have benefited from more variety. More enemies.. pickups... terrain to navigate... etc.

Developer(+1)

Yes definitely, maybe a job if i revisit. Thanks for playing!

It's a fun concept. Maybe it should have a scoring system that rewards accuracy by giving bonus points for blowing up more than 1 enemy.  And maybe put some walls or other obstacles in later levels for more variety

Developer(+1)

Yes, it would have been better to have some variation in the levels, but I ran out of time. Thanks for playing :)

I like your game, and I love a scoreboard! I got over 40 points, but somehow it does not show up? Or is it loaded once in a while?

Some feedback: first I thought that the one heart at the top right corner was a powerup, but it turned out to be an health indicator.
Maybe a way to get combo's or more points for dangerous moves could be nice, because now the points are an other way to say how far the player has come.
There is a bug I found where the amount of points is not reset after restarting the level.

I love the graphics! It is really convincing! I screenshotted it and zoomed in on mspaint to see how you did that ^^"

You have to refresh the page for some reason. I couldn't work out why, maybe a restriction server side

It's a black and white 160x144 resolution with a Gameboy shader over the whole thing

Thanks for playing

Sweet little gameboy-like arcade. I can't see the multi-use aspect though?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. The bombs get reused :)
