Very Funny! I would have never thought that Multiverses could mean "Multiple Verses" In a song! also loved how you guys literally put the words "Untitled Game Jam 62" into the game!

I enjoyed lyrics and how words flowed from the character. I thought it was neat that sounds from the words persisted in the air and you could hear them as you ran beside them. The rat enemies seemed a little out of place given that you are fighting another rapper at the end of the game who doesn't seem to be linked to the rat epidemic. Also the challenge of the game was a little lackluster. I don't think you take enough damage for any of the enemies to present a real threat. Also, just a small critique but the main menu should also have music since it is a music focused game!

Overall had a lot of fun playing through the game. Well done!

BTW In the future you should think about releasing WebGL builds for your projects. I think it makes the game more accessible since it is available to others regardless of the platform. Also some like myself are a little unnerved about downloading an unsecure program onto our computers.

Cool game, very creative, I don't really know why you fight rats in a rap battle, but its fun and enjoyable haha
Personally, I feel like the game is a bit easy. You can actually rush to the boss and almost face tank it by running into it because you recover so much hp during combat. Also I didnt get the bar in the bottom or what the colors or numbers meant. I noticed that my player got stronger, but I don't feel like the visual presentation or the naming indicated that enough to fully grasp what was going on.

Overall a good job tho! Was definitely entertaining!

Overall Enjoyment: The game was very enjoyable and it was fun to wander around and shoot the enemies, felt very satisfying when you killed a big horde of the rats.

Use of Theme: Found the play on words of the theme to be very unique and stands out.

Gameplay Enjoyment: As I said , the shooting mechanics felt very satisfying. However, I was not sure what I was supposed to be doing at some times or what the bar at the bottom of the screen was for.

Audio: The Audio was extremely fitting for the game and the main theme felt very catchy loved it.

Visuals: The Art on the main menu was really good, and made the game enticing to me, the art for the background could have been a bit more but overall was still really good. Liked the UI indicators for when you could fire.

Creativity: Liked the creative use of the theme and found the gameplay very enjoyable, though, I think it could greatly benefit from some damage buffs when you filled up the bar at the bottom (I couldn't tell if there was so apologies if it was implemented)

Great work on the game, really enjoyed the shooting mechanics, have a good day ! :)

Thanks for the review!

We definitely could have done a better job explaining some of the mechanics and the goal of the game. The bar at the bottom reflected your "Verse Power", when you achieved a new "Verse Power Level" you unlocked better Verses that were slightly more powerful.
