Cool concept, would love to see it fleshed out more.
The game is a bit confusing. I wasn't sure what closing the door does, or the difference between leaving it open. I see a percentage at the top left of the screen that gets lesser and lesser as time passes, and even goes negative, but I do not understand what it represents. My health? Power? Chance to open the elevator?
the controls are also a bit confusing - i think those could have been written in-game to make for a smoother immersive experience. I could hear monster sounds but could not see anything, wasn't sure if I was supposed to react to something. Sometimes the elevator seems to move by itself without any user input, which adds to the confusion.
Nonetheless, I liked the atmosphere and it did establish a good tone for the game! So good job on that!
buggy yeah sometimes the elevator closes without pressing the button and when you die it moves you two levels ahead that was my experience. But good idea game keep going
