Subject, Skills, and Grade Level
Players will generate writing prompts as a group and write brief poems during 5-minute timed writing challenges; it encourages low-judgment writing and quick wordplay. It's most appropriate for 12 and older.

Time & Players
FairyVerse is modular, with a warm up activity, small tasks, and a big finale. Small tasks can be few in number, keeping the game to 45 minutes, or can be many, extending the game longer. It's best with 2-5 players, but many groups can play in synchronized fashion and use the same countdown timer together.

Rules, Tools, & Assessment
It is GM-less. It requires pencil and paper (or word processing) for each player, a few numbered tokens, and a countdown timer. I'm working on a spoken guided first session walkthrough to further lower the barrier to entry. There is no assessment to built in, but the resulting poems could be collected and assessed; Each player will try to write five or more brief poems in a session.
