This was fun! I got it in around 2m07sec. The level's design made the game have some challenge, especially with the little cave bit. I really enjoyed the pitch/speed of the song being used as feedback. It really helped convey the stress of almost running out of water. Making the cloud slow when overhydrated was another nice touch. Great work!

This was really cute and fun! Great work! At first I though the lower pitch music was a bad thing, like I was running out of time or something. I did eventually realize it was simply based on the size/speed of the cloud, which is a nice touch :)

I'm glad you liked it! I like when music changes in game based on what's on screen, so I tried it out here.

What a great idea, the pitch of the music that accompanies the size of the cloud. It sounds clunky when it's big because the music is slow. And it sounds urgent when the music is fast and higher-pitched. Great job.

I finished in 1'48".

Developer

Thank you! Playing with dynamic music (in a really basic way, anyway) is pretty easy, but I find that it adds so much to the experience.

Great time - I haven't been able to get below about 1'35" myself 🙂

I like this game. It was relaxing and fun at the same time, good job.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! I wasn't really aiming for "relaxing", but I could very easily see a separate game mode where you can't die and just water the flowers to some nice music and much-improved art!

I found the movement to be a lil weird but the concept was great! Solid Job!

Developer

With more time, I definitely would have fixed it up a bit. It was hard because the cloud slows down as you gain more water, so trying to tweak the movement to feel good at all speeds would have needed more time. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! This was the first time I've made game music myself, so I'm really happy you liked it. 🙂

Cool job in such a record time.

Thank you! This was my first Trijam - I've never made a game in this short of a time period before. It was really thrilling, and I'm looking forward to my next one.

Loved it!

Something about the way you tied the clouds size to the music and speed just works! It made me feel a bit giddy, and the overall look gave me early Mario vibes, really nice work!

Developer

Yay, I'm glad the concept feels like it works! I wanted a better level design and birds in the air to avoid, but I just didn't have the time. The Mario clouds were definitely what I was going for ☁
