Hey we reviewed your game here, check it out https://www.twitch.tv/devdiaries
I did not enjoy this because of the first-person view. I think this concept of pushing and pulling blocks would have suited a third-person overhead view. I give you the kudus for trying to develop this type of game in 3 hours.
i like the idea but i couldn’t play only a few minutes due to my extreme motion-sickness. I can’t play any first-person games that have no fixed anchor (like hands, weapons). I voted fair for the visuals and how you did it - but i couldn’t play it much (my problem, not yours)
VR mode be like
Good music (+3 points)
Bean (+3 points)
Stupid crate mechanics (I love it) (+3 points)
Was in 2nd person (some for originality) (+1 point)
Couldn't move while crouched (-2 points)
Could hop like a little bunny while crouched (+1 point)
Shift to crouch (-3 Points)
Backrooms (+1 Point)
Fire Icon and Great name (+2 points)
didn't win :(
OVERALL: 3.9/10 (basically a 4 still played the game for like 30 minutes though)
Nice drawing! If I did the math right, you gave me a 9/10 (It's first person)
This game transported me to the backrooms. 5/5
Thank you.
What the heck is happening with camera in this game?!
Motion Sickness Simulator
Neat little game! I like where you hid the win box!
Something that I did immediately notice was that the camera movement seems to be 'rotated'? Did you maybe switch the Y and Z axis around in the code? (happens to me too sometimes with software alternating between the depth and up axis haha)
Other than that, I do like that you actually had to build up some speed first to slide under the gap, that felt pretty cool!
Thanks! The map design is pretty tiny and awful, and there are a lot of ways to get out.
