We actually played this as a two player game and it was super fun! We played several times, learning the physics of it, improving our strategy, and laughing. Well done! What was the inspiration or precedents for this idea?
Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear you had fun with it! My first thought was to have runners on a track having to throw obstacles at each other to make their opponent finish first. I changed it to grenades because I thought it would be cool and to have them face each other because it was a little easier to program that way.
Good Entry in the end. I like the idea, the delivery lacks some improvements, as you can guess. But good job!
Thank you very much! Next time I think I need to spend a little more time fine-tuning the smaller details to wrap the game up nicely.
Good effort, certainly if you're just starting with Unity. The game design was pretty decent for the time given, if worked on and polished it could be a fun online multiplayer concept. One tip (maybe it's just me), but making a 3D project that doesn't need the default skybox, I just turn it off in Rendering/Lighting Settings (select 'none' under the environment tab). Generally good job on the game, and have fun in your further learning Unity! :)
Thank you! Yeah I think after staring at it mindlessly for those 4 to 5 hours it kind of melded in with my Unity UI and I didn't think to change it lol. Looking forward to utilizing more from Unity in the future!
pretty good for someone starting out with unity (coming from someone who's spent forever trying to get it to work lol)! it feels a little weird to use arrow keys with the mouse instead of wasd though, and i think some music and sound effects could greatly enhance your final product :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I completely agree, the controls are a little awkward and I completely blanked on adding sound lol. That's on me for waiting until 1am to finalize the build.
