I can tell a lot of thought went into this (at least 2 days worth!)

Suggestions:

  • Shrink as well as fade ships when they reach the planet so it looks like they're landing/descending
  • Option to invert scroll (took me a while to get used to it)
  • Alternative controls:
    • Hold and drag the temporal ley lines
    • Arrow keys: Up/Down to manipulate, Left/Right to select temporal ley line
    • My mouse wheel isn't 100% reliable and I don't want to jeopardise the colonists because of a faulty mouse

Great concept and execution overall!

Heyyo, I appreciate the feedback! Those are some great suggestions. I've written them all down on my project-board for a post-jam update!

When all you have is 3 hours, planning and researching ideal APIs is key, but no amount of planning could protect me from all those bugs xD
So I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed it; thanks for playing! :D

Commander Mode is "Some of you are going to die, and Im okay with that". Nice work on the game!

This is painfully true, but in the pursuit of galactic human colonization, sacrifices must be made!

Thanks for taking the time to give it a whirl, and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! :D

That's a nice and polished submission! Well done! The game is hard for my little brain tho

No worries there; it was hard on my brain putting it together, and even I can't wrap my head around Captain difficulty!

Thanks for stopping by to give it a whirl! Glad to hear you liked it :D

Okay so my hiscore is 22/50 :) I went with the strategy of focusing on one shipline at a time and slowing the others down... Surprisingly I found the scroll direction (on the rinngs) counterintuitive :( Probably because when one scrolls a webpage or whatewer, with scroll-wheel rotating up, the content on the page moves down.

Anyway, pretty nice submission.

Hey there, that's some great feedback! I can see how that might be somewhat of a deviation from player expectation, but I suspect it could be easily be remedied with an "invert scroll-wheel" checkbox. I appreciate your thoughts :]

Glad you liked it, and 22/50 ain't bad at all considering Commander level is basically impossible, so well done!
Thanks for playing! :D
