Is this how Santa gets around to every house. The endless warping was a fun mechanic. Great art and perspectives for the main character.

I liked the music and animations, I tried my best and got up to 300 just in time.

My recommendation: add sound for when I get candy and maybe lerp the transform when dashing. Still, very cool game.

Congrats on getting 300, I think you beat my high score! And I had considered switching to having the player actually move instead of warping for the dash but I had already gotten used to the way it was. Though I can definitely see why that way wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea

I really like the artwork and the music. as already mentioned some kind of feedback when loosing candy would be great :)

Developer

Thanks! I wasn't really sure about the music cus I hadn't written any in a long time, but I'm glad you liked it!

Loved the art and characters! Some feedback when losing candy would be helpful, I didn't realize bullies took my candy until near the end.

Thanks for the feedback!

Great art and a cool premise. Sound effects for the different actions (attacking, dashing, getting your candy stolen, etc.) would have gone a long way. We actually had a similar concept for our game, funnily enough.

Developer

Yeah, sound was a bit of an afterthought tbh. I didn't even start writing the music until the last day and that time might've been better spent finding sound effects and music instead of writing it myself. Hopefully I'll remember to consider sound effects for my next game jam lol
