Plot hooks?

I am new to TTRPGs, this is my second and I loved the approachable scale. I'm still in the process of coming up with an idea, I was a little confused by the optional rule to include 3 plot hooks. What extent of detail is expected for that in a short setting?  I had thought that was up to a DM/GM ? What does including it in the setting look like?

I googled and was reading the below link for ideas.

Would love to hear more, thank you!

The plot hook thing is an extra challenge, so not necessary!

Really, what it's asking is to provide 3 (or more) ideas that GMs can use to spring off into their own games or campaigns. How you include them in the setting alongside how much detail is up to you! For example, I could have a section in the setting that is titled Plot Hooks with bullet points like "Grandma Sherry says that her cat went missing, but was last seen at Henley Lake." Or, you can weave it into the actual writing of the setting.

Think of them like adventure seeds. A quick sentence, maybe two of something that could be what sets an adventure in motion in your setting.
