Nice and simple mechanics. Even though a digital version would be more easier to play I like that you have gone with the print-n-play format. A few illustrations on movement step-by-step and effects would be helpful.
If you ever do a digital implementation of this, I'd enjoy playing it--I think the ruleset seems really great but I found it hard to do on paper because I wasn't sure if I had the movement rules correct or not.
This is neat, but with no way to confirm I've understood things correctly, it gets more and more confusing. I think it'd work fine as is in an interactive setting, but as a paper puzzle, there might need to be a few extra, subtle hints.

I don't understand the Pilephil trumpets, but otherwise I love this game
