Congrats on winning the jam!
Hey thanks! It was a fun jam and everyone was great.
Really cool art style, and the secret level was really cool, although I could not understand what everything was down there (I understood the entries, not the environment tho).
This game was great! After I found the birds, I literally spent 20 minutes finding the secret level, but all is fine. I do suggest that maybe you could add more color or something because some parts I was not able to understand what it was that I was looking at. It might just be me though... 😅
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the values are close together. I gave it 2 passes and said good enough lol. There's a sound clue below the book; not obvious at all but go down.
It's a really neat idea, and the graphics are really nice. I wish there was some sort of indicator for how many birds to find, or some way to at least know where to look. At times it was frustrating slowly looking around, finding nothing.
I have an idea for adding move speed for each one found and I couldn't solve for playing the victory music in the proper spot as a queue for finding them all. Maybe it's too subtle. Saying "Find #" and having an indicator is probably the way to go. Thanks for the feedback.
The title screen and the art style in general looked really good.
This could become a genuinely great horror game if you kept it going and it became something else.
I found all the birds but I did not find the secret level. Please tell us how.
Thanks for the comment!
After finding all the birds, something seems to have happened to the deck railing below the book, it might be worth investigating...
Wow!
