This game is the definition of fun. Well done!

Coming from the jam host, this is really appreciated! Thanks :)

Really fun and addicting, the variety of different pickups is really nice. I think like the comment before me, I'd like the position of the arrow to be more intuitive after each boost because the way it jumps up to the start feels a bit weird especially when you're trying to quickly dodge the objects. Apart from that it's really good to play!

I'm glad you liked it! There is currently a bug that does something weird with the direction of the arrow after clicking it with the mouse. When you hold down the space bar the arrow resets to 45 degrees before the angle you held it at.But the mouse doesn't do that reliably, I don't know why. I made it like that with the intention that the player then has a small opportunity to shoot himself off in the same direction again as before.  Was this a good idea, or no?

Yeah I think that was the idea I was suggesting because I tried a few times to quickly go in the same direction but the arrow was resetting to the top each time. So maybe its just the bug you described

Developer

Are you using the button  with the mouse or with the space bar?

The mouse, so I'd assume it was just the bug you described

Very well executed and fun!

It'd be awesome if the arrow is more predictable, instead of jumping to a random position after each boost. That way, players would develop a rhythm and focus on properly aiming and getting through the environment instead of looking at the arrow all the time.

Good stuff!
